About High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad was established in 1866 as the High Court of Judicature for the North-Western Provinces at Agra and moved to Allahabad (now Prayagraj) in 1869. It has jurisdiction over Uttar Pradesh and, with a sanctioned strength of 160 judges, is the largest High Court in India.
